It is not known whether this is a common phenomenon and what it is connected with. Apparently, condensation has formed on the Xiaomi 14 camera lens due to low ambient temperature. Previously, this situation was observed in the flagships of the Xiaomi 12 series presented at the end of 2021.
In 2022, right after the first reports that the Xiaomi 12 camera was fogging, brand representatives said that the problem was observed only among Russian bloggers. Such cases were not recorded in China, where the smartphone was introduced at that time.
It later turned out that the camera fogging problem was solved by “warming up” smartphones with the SIM tray removed during this process. Some users warmed up their new devices using space heaters, while others ran demanding games and tests. Apparently, moisture somehow formed on the smartphone and evaporated when the device was heated, forming condensation.
