“Them [МГТУ им. Баумана] took over the development of the design documents,” the minister explained.
According to Khakimov, as part of the fulfillment of the instructions of the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov, an agreement was signed with the university to create a light, maneuverable combat vehicle for the needs of a special military operation (SVO).
“In the future we will grow this in our republic,” said the head of the regional department.
Chechen government in January reportedIt will begin production of light military vehicles called “jihad vehicles”. It is planned that the “jihad vehicles” will be assembled at the Chechenavto factory, and then the prototype will be tested at the Russian Special Forces University.
Previously under US sanctions hit MSTU is named after Bauman.
