At the same time, these models are also introduced as desktop models that are much more efficient. The current version of the RTX 3080 Ti is powered by GA102 and has 10240 CUDA cores.
At the same time, such a graphics card offers a 256-bit bus, lower frequencies and increased video memory from 12 GB to 16 GB, as in the real RTX 3080 Ti. Moreover, in this model, the TDP is reduced to 115 W, while the mobile RTX 3080 Ti Laptop can operate at 150 W.
Despite all the improvements, this version of the graphics card produces results at the level of a regular mobile RTX 3080 Ti Laptop with 12 GB of video memory. It is also almost one and a half times weaker than the original desktop version of the RTX 3080 Ti.
