Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Maksut Shadayev presented government awards to the best leaders of the digital transformation of Russia’s federal executive bodies and regions, the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office reported.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko held a meeting with leaders of digital transformation, during which participants discussed the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in economic sectors, evaluated the progress of projects on the GosTech platform, and also discussed the status of digitization of archives in the RF regions.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dmitry Chernyshenko and Maksut Shadayev awarded the leaders of digital transformation.
According to the government order, gratitude was expressed to representatives of Rosrezerv, the Federal Treasury, the Ministry of Eastern Development, the Federal Tax Service, Rosobrnadzor, Rosakkreditatsiya and Rosimushchestvo. Awards were also received by representatives of Tatarstan and Bashkiria, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Chelyabinsk, Tula and Lipetsk regions.
The Deputy Prime Minister also greeted the participants of the PROF-IT forum in Novosibirsk via video conference. He wished the forum participants fruitful work and expressed hope that PROF-IT will be fruitful in taking decisions and agreements that can bring many regions of Russia to a new level of digitalization.
According to Chernyshenko, it is no coincidence that Novosibirsk was chosen as the host city of PROF-IT this year.
“The digital maturity level of the subject is 85%, and highly qualified, narrowly specialized personnel are trained in the region, including engineering specialties. More than 7 thousand of the 15 thousand budgeted places in universities are in engineering specialties. Traditionally at PROF-IT, participants share best practices in the field of computationalization of public administration. “This is an important event for the entire IT industry of the country, designed to enable the creation of innovations and the implementation of digital solutions at regional and municipal levels,” he said.
At the meeting, issues of digitalization of archives were also discussed, and successful solutions were presented to introduce artificial intelligence to the field of archiving in the regions.
