AyaNeo has announced the Air Plus handheld game console with AMD’s new Mendocino processor. This system-on-a-chip contains four Zen 2 processor cores and a GPU with RDNA 2 architecture. Steam Deck has the same set.

The new console will also have a 6-inch screen with a 1080p resolution and an SSD of the M.2 2280 type. The amount of RAM and battery capacity are not specified. However, it is interesting that the novelty costs $ 290 (less than 19 thousand rubles at the exchange rate at the time of publication). A limited edition for $200 will be released later this year. Linux, Windows or Steam OS are declared as OS.
It is not yet known in which countries the novelty will appear in the first phase. However, the mere fact that such cheap consoles appear on a full-fledged desktop operating system is pleasing. Attention!
