Sber press service reported that Sber developers presented the first model of the new generation GigaChat.
When the approach to training was changed, almost all of the model’s skills improved significantly, from condensing texts and answering questions to generating ideas. The size of text you can work with has now been doubled. The new model is available to all GigaChat users.
“To date, the number of unique GigaChat users has reached 1 million and today we launched the first model of the new generation GigaChat. Not only does the service know how to communicate like a person, but in the process of additional training he achieved a breakthrough in all productive tasks. According to the latest exam results for neural network models MMLU (Massive Multitask Language Understanding), GigaChat doubled its performance,” said Denis Filippov, vice president for digital surfaces at Sberbank Salyut.
He added: “The most impressive progress has been made in summarization, where you have to compress a large text to avoid having to read it all.”
“Using the summarized text, you can get answers to any questions or wish to formulate important thoughts. I am sure that users will enjoy working with GigaChat more and will be able to solve their problems more effectively with its help. And we will welcome the feedback, which we will use to further improve the product,” said Filippov.
Now you can also communicate with GigaChat on the VKontakte social network – you just need to activate the bot. The service creates texts using the Kandinsky model, draws according to text requests and produces ideas suitable for every situation.
Sber’s artificial intelligence, GigaChat, is available to users of all Sber smart devices as well as in the Salyut mobile app on Android. Additionally, businesses have access to the GigaChat API to build their own solutions and optimize their processes.
