Low prices helped Chinese manufacturers increase their sales in the Russian market. Thus, the Infinix brand increased its sales by 630%, Tecno by 300%, and Realme by 71% compared to 2022. At the same time, sales of Apple’s new iPhones increased by only 20%, while Xiaomi’s sales fell by 6%.
According to Avito, the average price of new smartphones from Chinese brands is no more than 21 thousand rubles. Infinix, Realme and Honor offer devices at prices of 10.3 thousand, 8.3 thousand and 5.7 thousand rubles, while Xiaomi has the same average price. respectively. At the same time, the cost of new iPhones is on average 52.5 thousand rubles, and Samsung – 42 thousand rubles.
Used smartphones from Chinese brands cost half as much as new ones.
According to a study by M. Video – Eldorado”, Chinese manufacturers occupied quantitatively 75% of the Russian smartphone market for the nine months of 2023. Xiaomi is the leader in unit sales, followed by Realme, Tecno and Samsung.
