The Japanese company P-UP World presented the Mode 1 Retro II smartphone, which combines the classic clamshell design with the functionality of a modern smartphone running the Android operating system. The portal reports this Home page.

The cover is equipped with a built-in 3.5-inch touchscreen with HD+ resolution, a push-button control unit and two cameras: a main camera with a resolution of 48 megapixels and a front camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels.

The smartphone also has an external display that can display the time and notifications. Features are not disclosed.

Mode 1 Retro II is powered by an eight-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory.

It is also claimed to have a fingerprint scanner, 2500 mAh battery and fast charging via USB Type-C port. The new product runs Android 13 with pre-installed Google services. The weight of the device is only 145 grams.

The cost of the P-UP World Mode 1 Retro II smartphone is 29.8 thousand yen (about 19.3 thousand rubles). It has not yet been announced that the device will be available for sale outside Japan.
