Activision Blizzard president Bobby Kotick held a large-scale meeting at the company dedicated to the merger with Microsoft, during which he hinted that a new installment of the Guitar Hero series of guitar playing simulators is being developed. In this respect reports Windows Central edition.
In his speech to employees, Kotick stated, among other things, that “the revival of the Guitar Hero series would not be possible without some resources from Microsoft.” Windows Central notes that this isn’t the first time Kotick has mentioned the gaming series recently. The portal’s editors believe that the top executive’s obsession with the series may indicate the development of a new part of Guitar Hero.
Kotik also pointed out that the merger of Activision Blizzard and Microsoft will have a positive impact on the video game development process in general. In particular, the American IT giant’s innovations in artificial intelligence, graphics technologies and more should make this easier.
The merger agreement between Activision Blizzard and Microsoft will be completed by October 18, 2023. According to Windows Central, some Activision Blizzard games will come to Game Pass this year. The main part of the books will later be included in the new library.
