The iPhone 15 does not work properly with some power banks, as a result of which the smartphone does not charge itself from them, but rather transfers energy to external batteries. In this respect reports MacRumors post citing user complaints.

According to user reviews, not all existing power banks with USB-C connectors are compatible with the iPhone 15. In some cases, the iPhone 15 either does not charge or starts to transfer its charge to the external battery. MacRumors suggests that the problem may be caused by the iPhone’s reverse charging feature not working properly.

The problem affects many power bank models. In particular, it is reported that the smartphone is not synchronized correctly with the Anker PowerCore Slim 10K PD. The manufacturer has already responded to user complaints. Anker said the only way to get an external battery to charge the iPhone is to use the USB-A port.

MacRumors writes that it’s impossible to compile a complete list of accessories that the iPhone 15 is not compatible with due to the wide variety of power banks on the market.

Previously tested by blogger JerryRigEverything showedthat the base iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are more powerful than the titanium iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.
