Popular blogger Zach Nelson from YouTube channel JerryRigEverything Tested the power of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Base models were more resistant to bending tests than the titanium iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Old flagship model with titanium frame failed the test for bending – the smartphone did not bend, but its back glass cracked due to the applied force. The blogger failed to bend the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, which use a steel frame. At the same time, their glass did not crack under pressure, although it was the same in all models.
In addition, the base iPhone 15 showed good resistance of the screen protector – the blogger managed to leave visible scratches with a tool with a hardness of 6 on the Mohs scale. This will prevent accidental scratches even when in contact with metal objects. The screen of the iPhone 15 Pro Max has shown itself in a similar way before.
The blogger also showed how the frame of the device is drawn and how the screen reacts to the flame from the lighter. After being heated by fire for a few seconds, a dot appeared on the screen and then disappeared.
Overall, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus passed JerryRigEverything’s durability testing, delivering similar results to the iPhone 15 Pro Max in all tests while also surviving bending.
Previously reportedthat the budget iPhone SE 4 will get the features of the new iPhone 15 Pro.
