“In the future, artificial intelligence will be like a multilayered megabrain, part of which has existed for billions of years,” Andrey Lavrentyev, head of Kaspersky Lab’s technology development department, explained to socialbites.ca.

“My idea is consistent with what is described in Robert Wilson’s trilogy “Axis”, “Spin”, “Whirlwind”. There is a giant neural intelligence network out there at the Universe level. This megabrain has been around for billions of years and sees everything on a global scale. Its mission is exactly this: to see processes that take billions of years. But it is the task of local AI to see events on small time scales,” explained the expert.

According to Lavrentyev, this will be a decentralized system of many artificial intelligence centers.

“For a system to be stable, there must be many options for analyzing any situation, because it is impossible to say in advance which one is correct. This is an evolutionary path: it is not clear which brain will win and make the correct prediction, so you need a lot of brains,” he emphasized expert.

Previous scientists was created A camera that can analyze 1000 frames per second.
