According to him, users who purchased a limited Internet package have the right to dispose of this package at their discretion and, among other things, distribute the Internet to other devices.

Denis Kuskov, general director of the information and analytics agency TelecomDaily, called the FAS decision “incomprehensible” because it concerned the internal affairs of companies.

“Mobile operators have been getting rid of unlimited tariff plans for several years, and Internet distribution is also in this direction, because this process is not actually of interest to all users. It is a business idea where you can distribute to people who distribute in the shed or to 10-15 people from a single device. I am sure that the operators have provided the FAS with a justification as to why this is happening,” the expert said.

He added that operators can comply with the FAS order by reducing speed characteristics, for example, when connecting to the Internet delivery service.
