During the certification of the iPhone 15 in China, Apple announced the battery specifications of all new models, although it remained silent about this parameter during the presentation. In this respect reports MacRumor’s publication.
Thanks to the leak, it was revealed that all iPhone 15 models receive more capacity batteries compared to previous generation smartphones. On average, this figure increased by two to three percent.
Documents leaked to the media, especially from China, show that the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max receive batteries with a capacity of 3349 mAh, 4383 mAh, 3274 mAh and 4422 mAh, respectively. For comparison, the iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max batteries have a capacity of 3279 mAh, 4325 mAh, 3200 mAh and 4323 mAh, respectively.
MacRumors writes that in 2022, the same certification records provide accurate battery data for the iPhone 14.
According to journalists, despite the actual increase in the battery capacity of the iPhone 15, the autonomy of smartphones has not increased. Apple website states that the base model lasts 20 hours on a single charge, 15 Plus – 26 hours, 15 Pro – 23 hours, 15 Pro Max – 29 hours. The same indicators are specified by the manufacturer for models of the previous generation.
