Editors of the GSMArena portal announced Detailed camera specifications of the entire iPhone 15 series.
According to the source, the base iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will have a 48 MP primary camera with f/1.6 aperture. This won’t use the same sensor as last year’s iPhone 14 Pro, but will use a new Sony sensor that performs better in low light conditions. The second sensor is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
The iPhone 15 Pro will retain the iPhone 14 Pro’s 48MP Sony IMX803 primary sensor (f/1.8) but will have an improved 13.4MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2). An improvement in the quality of the telephoto lens can be expected despite having the same hardware underneath. The third module is a telephoto lens: 12.7 MP, f/ 2.8.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max, also called Ultra, will have the same main and ultra-wide-angle cameras as the Pro, but the older model will have a 12.7 MP periscope lens (f/2.8) instead of a telephoto lens. Offers six times optical zoom.
The launch of the iPhone 15 series smartphones and other new Apple products will take place on September 12.
