Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) industry in the country is developing very rapidly. This has been reported TASS.

“We have a program until 2030, we need to train 1 million experts in this field. It may not be enough yet,” said the head of state.

He noted that this field is developing very rapidly.

Putin emphasized that unmanned aerial vehicles are used in various fields of activity such as defense, postal work, forest protection in the Russian Federation.

In June of this year, the Russian government approved a strategy for the development of unmanned aerial vehicles; accordingly, by 2030, a new branch of economy should appear in the country, which is related to the creation and use of civilian drones.

13 July Putin requested Approval of the national project on unmanned aerial vehicles by 1 September and prioritizing it in the budget. The head of state announced this at the future technologies forum. He pointed out that it is fundamentally important to systematically look at the next technological paradigm to create the industries and markets of the future. According to him, the national project for the development of unmanned air systems was built with this logic.
