Representatives of the cloud gaming service GFN.RU announced social networks are down. The streaming platform will cease to exist on October 1.

According to the GFN, the ability to register new users and purchase subscriptions longer than one week will be turned off from September 1. After one month the service will end completely and all users with a valid subscription at that time will be automatically refunded for unused time.

“From October 1, 2023, our servers will stop working. <…> Please wait until October 15 due to the high volume of returns. If you have not received a response by this time, please contact our support. “If you have purchased a subscription from our partners, we will work with them to process your refund,” GNF said on social media.

GFN.RU was released in October 2019 and allows running computer games on any compatible device, including “weak” computers. Games are launched on GFN servers and broadcast to users’ screens. The creator of the service, based on the Nvidia GeForce NOW platform, was the SAFMAR group, and its partners were M.Video-Eldorado and Rostelecom.
