DxOMark Technology Lab tested the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable smartphone and gave the device’s main camera a score of 127. Results published on Web site organizations.
“Among the advantages of the camera: good exposure and wide dynamic range, accurate white balance in daylight and indoors, fast and stable autofocus for photos and videos in most situations,” test results say.
Samsung developers were also praised for the low noise level when shooting video in daylight and the effective video stabilization on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. By comparison, Flip 4 in 2022 only scored 112.
According to experts, the Flip 5 camera is comparable to the OnePlus 11, Pixel 6 and iPhone 12 Pro. This is a flagship camera, but at the same time not as high quality as the cameras of the top models of 2023.
“Our testers found the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 to be an excellent device for landscape photography as well as still life photography such as food photography,” DxOMark said.
