WhatsApp messenger users can now send high resolution photos. In this respect informs Border.
It is noted that the innovation does not work by default. To send a photo in HD quality, the user has to click on the new “HD” button in the top menu before sending it in the editor. The photo will be sent with minimal compression, but not without it – it is not yet possible to send a photo without complete compression. An HD icon will appear next to the photo in the chat, indicating that the image quality is high.
While the standard resolution of photos sent to WhatsApp is 1600×1052 pixels, HD quality will allow resolutions up to 4096×2692 pixels. However, buyers of such photos will be able to choose whether to download the photos in full or low resolution to save bandwidth.
The HD quality feature will be gradually rolled out to all WhatsApp users in the near future. After that, the developers plan to add a high-definition video sending function to the messenger.
Previously recognizedWhatsApp will have a built-in neural network.
