Xiaomi company introduced The new Pad 6 Max tablet, which stands out from its predecessors with its large 14-inch display and the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Max has a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels (2.8K) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is claimed to have a peak brightness of up to 600 nits, supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision technologies, and is certified against blue radiation by German TÜV Rheinland.

The tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s 2022 flagship chip, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, 8GB – 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB – 1TB UFS 3.1 storage.

The Pad 6 Max has two cameras on the back: the main camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels and a depth sensor of 2 megapixels. The selfie camera is represented by a sensor with a resolution of 20 megapixels.

The novelty runs an unnamed version of Android with a pre-installed proprietary MIUI shell for tablets. Xiaomi has improved the shell for large screens and now the tablet can run up to four apps simultaneously in windowed mode.

The tablet’s 10,000mAh battery supports 67W fast charging, which takes just over an hour to fully charge. Separately, it is noted that the Pad 6 Max has a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port.

The Pad 6 Max also has branded accessories in the form of a pen and a keyboard case with a built-in touchpad that turns the tablet into a laptop.

The cost of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max in China starts at 3.6 thousand yuan (about 48.7 thousand rubles) for the 8/256 GB version. It has not been reported whether the device is available outside of China.
