The hacker successfully hacked into the bank’s systems, but jammed the computers and eventually failed to activate the security system and steal the money. About it in an interview “Newspaper.Ru” said Kaspersky Lab chief expert Sergey Golovanov.
“There are two computers in the bank, they are exactly the same. The only difference is that one computer controls and the second “watches”. He sees all the transactions but cannot intervene.”
According to Golovanov, twin computers are replaced if the mainframe fails. The hacker accidentally hacked into the backup computer.
“Then she tried to take money from him. The specialist could not understand that exactly the same person was standing next to him, but he did not reach him by fact-check, ”explained the expert.
The expert said many security systems were working when the hacker started to rock the boat and steal money on the “apparent” computer.
“Everything works in Anada and the passwords are the same, everything is the same, it just did not reach him. Therefore, I would call this record: “The boy was going to success, but he was unlucky,” Golovanov concluded.
