“In fact, a complete ban on the use of American-made equipment at work is being imposed in all establishments of the company,” said Rostec.

In early July, the newspaper Vedomosti reported such plans. According to the publication, the ban will also affect employees of subsidiaries.
The newspaper referred to an internal order signed by First Deputy Minister Vasily Osmakov. Information on the internal ban of the Ministry of Industry and Trade was confirmed to journalists by an employee of one of the companies developing IT solutions.
Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said in June that employees of the presidential administration are prohibited from using Apple devices for official purposes.
