Popular blogger and designer Artemy Lebedev’s Telegram channel may have been hacked by scammers. About it on my channel reported Ilya Varlamov (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent).
“On the telegram channel of Artemy Lebedev, a message appeared about the collection of cryptocurrency. It looks like it was hacked. Varlamov News said in a statement that Lebedev’s personal Telegram account has now been deleted.
On the afternoon of June 8, at 14:07 Moscow time, a message appeared on the Artemiy Lebedev Telegram channel about the collection of cryptocurrency. Everyone who invested was promised to return the money with a 15% bonus a few days later.
“So you can help me and make a relatively good profit,” Lebedev said on air. At the time of writing, the post had already been deleted from the designer’s Telegram channel.
In the publication on behalf of Lebedev, it was stated that the designer urgently needs $550,000 in cryptocurrency. Allegedly due to the restrictions imposed by the bank, he cannot buy quickly in such volumes. In this regard, Lebedev allegedly appealed to subscribers by the evening of July 8 with a request to help him increase this amount. The publication also talked about the minimum and maximum transfer amounts, which are set at $500 and $550k, respectively, per payment.
It is unknown if any of the subscribers transferred funds to the specified crypto wallets. Lebedev himself did not comment on the situation.
