Tesla plans to use the Optimus robot, also known as Tesla Bot, in its showrooms to increase sales. Portal reports Electric.
Sources familiar with the situation told Electrek that Tesla has begun displaying Optimus androids in the showcases of some car dealerships in China. The electric car maker has noticed an unprecedented interest in robots from visitors at various conferences and exhibitions, and hopes Optimus can increase car showroom attendance and car sales.
As Electrek noted, you should not count on Optimus to walk around the hall and communicate with potential buyers as a manager, but the portal does not exclude such a possibility in the future.
