Frequent use of the mobile phone increases the risk of developing cardiovascular pathologies, especially arterial hypertension, also known as hypertension. In this respect informs publication “Izvestia” with reference to cardiologist and candidate of medical sciences Ksenia Yeruslanova.

According to Yeruslanova, total interview time of more than 30 minutes per week increases the risk of developing hypertension. The higher this parameter, the higher the risk of pathology.

“Most likely, this is due to the stress experienced by a person who is in touch almost 24/7. And as you know, stress is one of the defining risk factors for the development of cardiovascular diseases.

According to him, people who frequently use cell phones at work blur the boundaries between work and personal time. This leads to constant anxiety and stress. To reduce the negative impact of phone calls on the body, Yeruslanova suggested controlling the time spent on this task.

“Set yourself a “quiet hour” without a cell phone. For example, during a meal or during rest. You can set the “do not disturb” mode at night and then incoming call or message notifications will not be displayed on the screen,” he said.
