The world’s largest iPhone factory is actively recruiting for a factory in Zhengzhou, China, before Apple launches new smartphones in late 2023. The newspaper writes about it South China Morning Post.

Foxconn’s Zhengzhou factory is offering a bonus of 8,000 yuan (about RUB 96,000 at current exchange rates) to former employees who regularly return to the assembly line during the busy season, according to SCMP.

Cash bonuses are also offered to employees who assist in recruitment. The company awards its employees a reward of 1,000 yuan (about 12,000 rubles) for each new collector.

Foxconn is also ready to pay a one-time bonus of 7,000 yuan (84,000 rubles) to all temporary employees who, on recommendation, start work during the peak season and stay at the business for at least four months.

According to the publication, Foxconn’s bonus announcements are an indirect sign that Apple continues to rely on its supply chain in China for the launch of the iPhone 15, despite plans to diversify its manufacturing facilities in other countries such as India and Vietnam.

Apple is expected to focus on shipping more iPhone 15 Pro models instead of the iPhone 14 Pro in 2022. The Cupertino-based company learned last fall that demand for Apple Pro models exceeded its expectations.
