At the Behind The Sims presentation, EA and Maxis Studio presented the first gameplay of the first release of The Sims 5, codenamed Project Rene, within the development team. video posted on YouTube.
The Sims 5 is in early development. Maxis’ authors showed some shots of the game’s prototype and discussed the development process, including lighting changes, intuitive animations, and hair customization.
The developers also hinted that the game will have a full-fledged open world instead of a city or village, and a simplified style of dialogue for players to understand what the characters are talking about.
The authors noted that the design shown in the video has not yet been confirmed and may change during development and release of the final version of the game.
The project is expected to be realized will appear multiplayer mode support. Also the inside published Screenshots from The Sims 5 showing several apartments with finished interiors and one of the cities that will be available to players.
The Sims 5 was first announced in 2022. Maxis has not yet specified a release date for the project. The authors only stated that the release will happen “in a few years”.
