Streaming platform Twitch has added a classification for adult content, which now includes mic licking and hot tub streaming. In this respect reported on the platform’s FAQ page.

Streamers on Twitch are now required to use content classification tags if their streams meet the following descriptions: adult games, sexual content, drugs, drunkenness or excessive tobacco use, violent and uncensored images, substantial profanity or vulgarity, gambling.

It is noted that if the broadcast includes long or repeated kisses by a person or object, detailed discussions of sexual topics, or experiences without proper training, you will need to mark the streams with the “sexual content” flag.

In addition, an expanded description of the “sexual content” tag was published in the FAQ section; this includes ASMR streams where broadcasters kiss or lick the microphone, and broadcasts from the jacuzzi.

“We consider kissing or microphone licking sexual thematic. Also, whirlpool streams designed to draw attention to body areas such as the hips, groin or chest should be labeled,” Twitch told Twitch.
