The main feature of MIUI 14.1 is its foundation – Android 14. Previous versions of the Xiaomi shell are based on Android 13 and even Android 12. According to XiaomiUI, only five smartphones will receive the latest firmware: Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, as well as Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Ultra.
The rest of Xiaomi and Redmi devices will receive Android 14 in place only with the release of MIUI 15 version. It is said to launch alongside the new Xiaomi flagships at the end of 2023.
Mass release of MIUI 14.1 for Xiaomi and Redmi flagships is scheduled for August-November.
