Sber has opened up everyone’s full access to the SaluteSpeech speech synthesis and recognition platform, the bank’s press service reported.

Previously, platform technologies were only available for commercial use by legal entities, while private users could only use them on a limited basis for non-commercial projects.

Using the application programming interface (API), authors can create audiobooks, bloggers can voice content or, conversely, convert audio recordings to text. For example, to quickly transcribe an interview.

Small and medium-sized businesses can use the new tariff to build mobile and web applications, pre-record for the phone, audio presentation materials, decode audio recordings of meetings, and more.

“Recognizing the value and demand of speech technologies, our goal was to give people quick and easy access to the SaluteSpeech platform. With the Freemium plan, users will have access to 100 minutes of voice recognition per month and 200,000-character speech creation. This limit is renewed every month.
