Samsung’s 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display ranked second in cost, accounting for 18% of the device’s total cost. The third largest single component is the camera, accounting for 14% of the cost.
Counterpoint analysts also stated that Samsung experts are responsible for the development of 33% of all materials for the S23 Ultra. They concluded that the base model of the Galaxy S23 Ultra costs $1,199, making it one of the most expensive devices on the market and second only to foldable smartphones.
