In the first quarter of 2023, 2.6 million electric and hybrid vehicles were sold worldwide, an increase of 28% compared to the same period last year. In this respect informs TechGoing publication citing data from the TrendForce analytics agency.

Tesla is the market leader in clean electric vehicles. The company sold 423,000 cars in three months, which allowed it to occupy 21.8% of the niche.
