Female players complain of harassment and insults in online games

Most female gamers have experienced harassment and abuse in online games – in the 18 to 24 age category, 75% of respondents complained about it. Portal reports Players With reference to the Sky study.

The survey involved 4,000 girls playing or streaming online. A quarter of those surveyed say online harassment makes them feel depressed. 27% of girls fear that harassment may somehow migrate from the virtual world to the real world, and one in ten people complain of suicidal thoughts in connection with the threats.
