WhatsApp messenger developers are working on a new feature in the application – users will be able to create nicknames for themselves to make it easier to find a person without a phone number. It has been reported WABetaInfo.

WABetaInfo noted that the feature is currently under active development and will appear in a future messenger update. Most of the time, new WhatsApp features appear in the Android app first and then roll out in the iOS app.
