TCL CSOT foldable TV received a 65-inch OLED matrix with 8K resolution. The device can also display a picture with a 120 Hz refresh rate and withstand up to 100,000 turn-on cycles, so such a TV can work for many years before its matrix is exponentially damaged. Information about the appearance of such a TV on sale has not yet been reported.
The Chinese manufacturer also showcased a 47.5-inch curved miniLED display with 9K resolution, a 57-inch ultra-wide gaming monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio and a 240 Hz refresh rate, designed for use in cars. TCL also showcased the world’s first series miniLED VR display with a pixel density of 1512 pixels per inch for virtual reality glasses and other developments in this field.
The SID fair is the largest international event in the display industry.
