Officially licensed by Sony, the Backbone One PlayStation Edition gamepad is out for Android a year after it was released for the iPhone. In this respect informs GSMArena portal.

The Backbone One PlayStation Edition controller is made in the design code of the PlayStation 5 console and is compatible with Android smartphones. The device is located between the two halves of the gamepad and is connected to it using a USB Type-C connector, as the controller is also powered by a smartphone. The device also has a connector for connecting wired headphones.

With Backbone One PlayStation Edition, users will be able to control both Android and PlayStation 4 and 5 games using the Remote Play service. Backbone’s proprietary app lets you consolidate all your games into one launcher, and also offers users a free one-month subscription to Google Play Pass for Android or Apple Arcade for iPhone, and three months of Discord Nitro.

Backbone One PlayStation Edition for Android goes on sale for $100 (about 7.9k rubles).
