According to Langame, from 2019 to 2022, the computer club market has grown from RUB 13 billion to RUB 13 billion. The total viewership of cyber clubs has doubled in three years, and the number of monthly visitors has increased by 2.5 times, up to 20 billion rubles.
At the same time, according to the research, the total number of computer clubs at the end of 2022 was 2.3 thousand. In 2019, this figure was just over 1 thousand workplaces.
The main audience of cyber clubs was men – 92% of the total number of visitors. The authors of the study think that girls are also attracted to computer clubs, but that the organizations “have not yet been able to attract” them.
Most often, visitors of cyber clubs are fans of games aged 18 to 24 (32.7%). The other 28.5% of visitors are between the ages of 25-34. At the same time, only 17.6% are underage. The average check for one visit was 500 rubles.
