What’s up will now allow its users to edit sent messages to “fix bugs” or simply because they “changed their minds,” the social network announced on Tuesday.
“From correcting a simple typo to add more content to a messageWe’re happy to give you more control over your chats”, WhatsApp said.
The user who wants to change one of his texts will only need to press and hold the sent message and select “Edit” from the menu. Until this possibility will be allowed fifteen minutes after sending the message.
The edited texts will appear as “edited”, but the history of prints will not be shown, so that users who receive the message know that the messenger has changed them.
