A few weeks before the WWDC event where Apple plans to unveil its first AR headset, the Cupertino-based brand has filed another trademark application related to the innovation. Portal reports MacRumors.

We are talking about XrProOS – the application is filed on behalf of Deep Dive LLC, which previously registered a trademark on Apple. This is the first time this sign has been mentioned in the press, and it’s not entirely clear how Tim Cook Corporation will use it. Earlier, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman said that the operating system of the AR headset will be called xrOS, so the new brand will most likely apply to this device as well. It is also possible that Apple covered their tracks before the presentation and never used the xrProOS mark in the future.

According to rumors, Apple’s first AR headset will be unveiled at WWDC on June 5, and its launch will take place in 2023. It is expected to combine virtual and augmented reality functions and cost about $ 3,000 (about 240,000 rubles).

Formerly socialbites.ca we talked about itThat Apple released a new iOS and disconnected it from the adapter on the iPhone.
