Owners of Apple smartphones and tablets updated to iOS and iPadOS 16.5 have been complaining of being unable to connect Apple’s proprietary Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter. In this respect informs MacRumors portal.
The issue is believed to be related to a software bug that Apple will fix in the next iOS update. At the same time, the official cause of the error is not yet known. Apple has already released the first beta of iOS 16.6 for developers, but with a possible fix, it could take a long time before a stable build is released.
iOS 16.5 release took place on the night of May 18-19. The update is minor and includes a new Sports tab not available in Russia in the Apple News app, a new wallpaper, and bug fixes for CarPlay, Screen Time and Spotlight.
