Israeli startup Sightful introduced the world’s first screenless laptop – the user will be able to interact with it using AR glasses. Portal reports Tom’s Hardware.

Spacetop device is based on Android. When the user wears special glasses, they will see a screen of up to 100 inches in augmented reality. The resolution of the AR head is 1080p per eye. Considering that all content is only shown in AR, no one else will be able to see what the owner of such a laptop is doing.

The gadget received a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, an Adreno 650 graphics card, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The laptop is enough for 5 hours of battery life. The weight of the device is 1.5 kg.

Spacetop supports Wi-Fi 6, 5G and Bluetooth 5.1 technologies. However, the “laptop of the future” has one major drawback – so far it can only work with web applications.
