Windows 11 users reported a noticeable drop in VPN connection speed after installing the May update on the operating system. Portal reports Beep Computer.
The update in question was named KB5026372 and was released in May. Complaints about problems appear immediately after installing and restarting the computer. It turns out that their VPN service is actually broken – their speed has become too low for comfortable use. It is noted that problems arise only for users using Wi-Fi – there are no malfunctions in the wired connection.
Microsoft said they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. Affected users are asked to uninstall the update before the patch is released.
