NetherRealm Studio announced Mortal Kombat 1 is a new chapter of the popular fighting game that will mark a “new era” for the series. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
Mortal Kombat 1 will offer players an updated combat system, several game modes, an immersive story campaign and other improvements. Cross-platform support is also announced for the game, and cross-progression will appear in the future.
Pre-orders for Mortal Kombat 1 will open on May 19, and the full version will open on September 19. The standard version will cost $ 70. Players who pre-order the game will have access to the August beta and additional character Shang Tsung. Owners of extended versions will be able to start playing five days before the official release of the project.
