Google began blocking the personal accounts and YouTube channels of State Duma deputies who were subject to sanctions. In an interview with socialbites.ca, his deputy, Yevgeny Fedorov, confirmed that his YouTube channel was also blocked – for the fourth time.

“YouTube channel is indeed blocked. And this is already my fourth block, last year I was blocked for the first time. I have a lot of correspondence with the prosecutor’s office, because this was done in violation of Russian law. We’ve been arguing with YouTube about this for over a year now. In this case, the next channel was blocked as soon as it gained 200,000 views.”

The MP said he plans to apply to the prosecutor’s office once again because he has collected material “for the seizure of Google”.

“I take the view that Google should be seized as part of the fight against sanctions. I was once one of the co-authors of the personal data law, in which Google transferred its content to the city of Udomlya, Tver Region, where Russian data centers are located. Thus, we have a chance to seize YouTube and Google, not ban them. “It is necessary to form a Russian management team and in no case close it, but to bring it under Russian national control as a spoil of war,” said Fedorov.

The parliamentarian expects Russian experts working for Google abroad to assist in the “takeover” of the company.

“YouTube and Google in Russia is a network business. This business can be brought under Russian control. If we also get help from Russian experts – and about 4,000 Russian experts have organized Google in the USA – then we can get 100% of the quality of the seized Google. According to my knowledge, our experts there have archived all these codes and everything else in their personal databases. If for some reason this does not work, it will not be possible to use the hackers’ abilities, then the quality will be lower. will have to write [код] completely on your own. The experts who wrote the same Rutube came out to me. They are ready to rewrite YouTube under Russian control,” he said.

Before Google blocked The State Duma deputy also deleted the personal account of Nina Ostanina and the associated YouTube channel. MPs Maria Butina and Mikhail Matveev also reported that the accounts were blocked.
