Bob Lee, founder of Cash App payment service and former head of IT company Square, had an affair with the sister of alleged murderer Nima Momeni. The newspaper writes about it The Wall Street Gazette with reference to sources.

According to the WSJ, Cash App founder and Caspian Momeni were having drinks with a group of friends at a house party in San Francisco before the argument broke out when Nima Momeni came to pick up her sister.
According to court records, Nima asked Lee if her sister had used drugs “or did anything inappropriate”. Communication turned into a conflict between two friends. According to the prosecution, Momeni killed Li with a knife while driving the programmer home that same night.
