The base versions of the new Apple iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus smartphones will receive a 48-megapixel camera, as will the more expensive Pro models. Portal reports MacRumors Citing the words of Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu.

The new triple-layer 48-megapixel sensor is expected to capture a large amount of light, resulting in improved photo quality. However, according to Pu, such a decision by Apple may lead to delays in the production of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Currently, the presentation of new brand devices is scheduled for September 2023.

Pu also claims that the iPhone 15 Pro models won’t get touch side buttons due to “design issues”. However, the analyst is still confident that the Pro models will be equipped with a titanium frame, improved A17 Bionic chip and increased RAM. Also, all four models of the fifteenth series will be equipped with a USB-C port instead of the usual Lightning.

Formerly socialbites.ca we talked about itiPhone 14 Pro owners complained about swelling and peeling of the screens.
