Microsoft announced About the imminent end of support for Windows 10 21H2, released in October 2021, and the forced upgrade of users to version 22H2.
Windows 10 21H2 will expire on June 13, 2023 and will no longer receive security updates or new features. To help keep devices secure and stable, Microsoft will launch an automatic update to version 22H2 for all consumer versions of the operating system. This update will be available shortly via Windows Update.
Microsoft encourages users to take advantage of the Active Time feature, which allows users to choose a convenient time to install updates. The company also reminds that Windows 10 22H2 will be the last major update for this tenth system, followed by only security patches until support ends in October 2025.
