Taiwanese electronics manufacturer HTC has posted a teaser on social media of the upcoming event that will showcase the company’s new flagship smartphone, the U23 Pro. In this respect informs GizmoChina version.

The published teaser shows the silhouette of a smartphone, which suggests that the new product will likely not get mechanical power and volume control buttons. Also in the silhouette, you can see the “o” shaped cutout on the screen below the front camera.

The published image shows the announcement date of the smartphone – May 18, 2023 – and the Viverse logo. Viverse is a metastore developed by HTC. GizmoChina suggests that the U23 Pro will get features focused on VR or AR.

Journalists also noted that the HTC U23 Pro has already appeared in the Geekbench 6 benchmark database. From this leak, it appears that the new product will receive a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and 12GB of RAM (RAM). In the test, the smartphone scored 933 and 2351 points in single-core and multi-core modes, respectively.

The price and release date of the new items were not disclosed.
