Japanese company Sony introduced the flagship smartphone Xperia 1 V, which has a 4K display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and a camera with Zeiss optics. In this respect informs iXBT portal.

The novelty is equipped with a 6.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of 4K and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It is noted that the device, whose screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 tempered glass, also has a large “chin” and an upper frame with a 12-megapixel front camera.

Sony Xperia 1 V is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device also supports microSD memory cards.

According to the manufacturer, the smartphone’s 48-megapixel main camera with Zeiss optics provides a double improvement in low-light shooting quality compared to its predecessor. Xperia 1 V also has a 12-megapixel telephoto lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module.

Sony Xperia 1 V is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W wired charging and anonymous wireless charging.

Other features include water and dust protection according to IP68 standard, 3.5mm audio jack and NFC.

The flagship smartphone Xperia 1 V will go on sale in Europe at the end of June, priced at € 1.4 thousand (about 117.8 thousand rubles).
