Google unveils Pixel 7a smartphone with flagship Tensor G2 chip and wireless charging

As part of the Google I/O presentation, the company introduced Pixel 7a, the smartphone that received the Tensor G2 chipset, as in the “old” models. The novelty went on sale on the day of its presentation.

Pixel 7a has a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Tensor G2 chipset used in the flagship Pixel 7 series is responsible for the performance of the device. The Titan M2 security chip has also been announced.

The smartphone has two cameras on the back – a 64MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The selfie camera is represented by a sensor with a resolution of 13 megapixels.

The 4385mAh battery supports 20W wired charging and 18W wireless power.

Pixel 7a in the 8/128 GB modification went on sale at a price of $ 500 (about 38.3 thousand rubles). At the same time, last year’s model Pixel 6a went on sale for less than $50.
